Property Styling

There are many things you need to consider when selling your home, and property styling is certainly an important one on the list. Having your property professionally styled can help to achieve three key things to gain the best possible sale price:

  • Provides your property with a broad appeal style which targets the buyer demographic for the property type and location. In turn, this can increase potential buyers and traffic at inspections.
  • Improves the way your property photographs for online and print marketing. Often the buyers first impressions of a property are the images they see online.
  • Maximises space and highlights the best features of the home with the right furniture and accessory placement.

With several years of experience and hundreds of styled properties under our belt, Design + Diplomacy have a thorough understanding of Melbourne’s property market across all suburbs. Harold Street, Thornbury

We had the pleasure of styling this beautiful four bedroom family home in Thornbury. Being a contemporary property in the inner northern suburbs, our styling had a playful yet sophisticated vibe to appeal to the demographic of potential buyers. The client was thrilled with the result and feedback they had received from the agent at open inspections, with the property selling under the hammer at 10% over the reserve price.

“We engaged the services of Design and Diplomacy to style our house in Thornbury for several reasons. They were competitively priced, their communication and enthusiasm was second to none and thirdly (and arguably most importantly), we chose D&D because they specialise in interior design – they’re not ‘just’ about linen and cushions.”

Collier Crescent, Brunswick

This updated two-bedroom Victorian cottage in the heart of Brunswick was a fantastic blank canvas for us to style. Being a home with lots of personality and colour, we created a space that was warm, bright and inviting to buyers, while enhancing the beautiful existing features of the home.

The team did an amazing job staging our house. They responded really well to the overall aesthetic of our renovated cottage so that the furniture felt like it belonged in the space. We got a great price for our house.”
